THE CATHOLIC PART  of Dr. Damgaard-Hansen's counseling program is for Catholic clients who want to make sure that their Catholic faith and values are understood and respected and utilized in the counseling process, whenever helpful for obtaining maximum results.

Being a Roman Catholic convert himself, Dr. Damgaard-Hansen is particularly sensitive to the Catholic version of the Christian faith and has found creative ways to utilize it in the counseling process.

People facing various aspects of suffering and struggles often ask deep, penetrating and logical questions, that psychology have no way of answering. Dr. Damgaard-Hansen believes, that there should never be a conflict between intellectual reasoning and faith, and has found, that the Catholic faith offers comprehensive and intriguing answers for the most inquisitive spiritually seeking mind.

Dr. Damgaard-Hansen has been a guest on various talk shows on Catholic Family Radio many times since February of 1999. He is a professional resource for many parishes and priests in The Archdiocese of Minneapolis/St.Paul who refer to him. He is appointed to the counseling staff of the Tribunal of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
